Black Pepper (piper nigrum)

Known as The King of Spices, Black Pepper, taken from the fruit of the vine, Piper Nigrum, contains a substance called piperine, which gives it its pungent flavour. Black pepper is reputed to increase the bioavailability of just about all other foods, including many herbs, spices, nutritional and therapeutic compounds.

In recent decades, scientific research has explored the many possible benefits of black pepper essential oil, such as relief from aches and pains, detoxifying the body and enhancing circulation, among many more.

The warming, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties of black pepper oil work to reduce muscle injuries, tendonitis, and many of the symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism.

For your joints: Black Pepper joins the impressive line up of ingredients designed to  offer you the very best in a topical application for aching joints in our popular product, MagHemp Joint, part ofthe Sativa Skin Solutions range.
