What is vegetable glycerine? Vegetable glycerine or glycerol, is a clear, odourless liquid produced from plant oils, typically palm oil, soy, or coconut oil. Palm and coconut oils are natural triglyceride mixtures; each triglyceride is composed of three fatty acids esterified with glycerine.

Vegetable glycerine has an incredibly sweet taste, having the consistency of a thick syrup. It is used as an agent in toothpaste, cosmetics, shampoos, soaps, herbal remedies, pharmaceuticals, and other household items.

Vegetable glycerine, while made from vegetable oils is water and alcohol soluble, making it easy to work with.

Enjoy the consistency: Our Big Bubbles, Head Lice Zapper Natural Hair Wash, and Hemp & Hibiscus Shampoo, have all been specially formulated using palm-oil free vegetable glycerine.
