Sweet Fennel has a sweet, liquorice-like aroma, and has traditionally been used as a stomachic and carminative. It has long been used for the relief of indigestion and flatulence.
Fennel may also relieve premenstrual symptoms and dispel fluid retention.
As Fennel has a tonic effect in skin care, it can be recommended to enliven dull and oily skin &/or mature complexions. It is cleansing and warming to the skin.
